When displaying a record in Access, I can tab through the edit
fields and JAWS correctly speaks the information in these
fields. Our current challenge however, is to have JAWS speak the
fields in the record that can not be edited.
Our second challenge is though JAWS speaks the editable fields,
The Focus 80 fails to display the information in these fields. I
spoke with FS support and they suggest using speech output mode
instead of the default structure mode in the Access braille
settings. The information in editable fields is still not
displayed in braille by JAWS. The latest version of 2020 is our
version of choice.
A work around is to virtualize the record window, but I would
love to have any resource material on JAWS and Microsoft Access.
Thanks for reading.
