Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI’s) provide an undeniably vital 
service in the education of blind and low vision students. An addition 
to the job
for which they have been trained, these unsung heroes often go above and 
beyond the parameters of what is expected of a TVI, for example, taking 
on the
role of assistive technology specialist, coordinating with district IT 
departments, working tirelessly with mainstream teachers on a wide 
variety of blindness
related topics as well as teaching those coping skills needed to 
function in the classroom.

The COVID-19 Coronavirus has literally changed the world in all facets 
of life including what options are available for the purposes of
