Google meet is actually very easy to use. It requires no installation of any kind or any download. A search for Google Meet can yield a result such as the following link:

http://meet.google.com

 

It works like Zoom and Teams, except is all in the browser, at least in my experience. 

There are neat shortcuts in Google meet, one of which s the shortcut site: http://www.meet.new, where you can start a Google Meet meeting instantly on your Web browser. (If you use the Gmail app on your iPhone, you can also scroll to the tab on the bottom that says, Meet, Tab, 2 of 2. 

Once they are enabled, Control+D toggles camera off / on, and Control+E toggles microphone off / on. There are other nice shortcuts and many more. I'm sure you'll be able to learn it.

Hi there,

 

I'm wondering what you guys might know about using JAWS with a Zoom-like platform called Google Meeting. I'll be downloading and playing with it, because I'm being asked about it. Can someone let me know how well it works with JAWS and how accessible it is in general?

 

I've only worked with Zoom, Skype, and Teams, and while I've heard of Google Meeting, I've never used or needed it.

 

I'd appreciate any information. Meanwhile, I'll be trying to figure it out as well.
