[Trainer-Talk] Looking for some ideas regarding a problem with Zoom, JAWS and a new USB mic

This is just re using the external microphone. Anytime you have Original
Sound turned on, you have to have to have to use headphones. Original
sound turns off all of Zoom's echo cancellation and such and so you are
going to have lots of trouble with echo. In general, if you are using an
external microphone like that I would strongly recommend using headphones
anyway. Depending on where your speakers are relative to the microphone
you can get bad echos. And using JAWS that just goes double, because if
you don't use headphones the other person is going to hear JAWS talking
over them or you as well. I would actually recommend using the headphones
plugged into the microphone. When you're making music, that lets you hear
what the mic is picking up, and as I say it will also make a big difference
re echo and such
