[Trainer-Talk] Using Messages app on Mac

Hi Ned. I just wanted to add a little bit more to the awesome tutorial that was given, it was amazing I must say. You can also press the tab key and go through buttons like compose, conversations, and things like that. Another thing that has changed is that before you could just put the VO cursor over the conversations list, and then you could press the up or down arrows until you found the one you wanted and it would highlight it for you, but now you have to do what Tony said to in order to select one. If someone sends you a link or photo or file or anything else, if you press the VO modifier keys, generally the control option and space bar, it will bring up the menu with separate options. In terms of composing a message, it’s a little bit complicated and you have to work around it. When you want to compose a message, I just tab to the button, otherwise you’d have to enter the tool bar by pressing VO shift down arrow and going to it. Once you do, go over to the actual message box, press VO space to open it, and then go back to the to field, then type in the name you want, and then it will give you results on the right if you move there. Sometimes it will even recognize which conversation you’re referring to. Hope this helps. Happy to answer more questions if you have any.
