[Trainer-Talk] Does anyone have information on accessibility of the Microsoft stream video editing app for screen reader users?

Well I've been on the hunt for long time. As for the built-in video editor in Windows 10 and 11, it was discontinued by Microsoft shortly after Win 11 was released. The video editor was part of the Microsoft Photo app, so to get it back you have to search for Microsoft photo legacy on the Windows store. I downloaded the legacy app few days ago because I needed to simply edit a video, but I found out that it crashes out very often, so I wouldn't use it for regular editing. Anyways, this is the link to windows store where you can download the photo legacy app:

Instead of this app, Microsoft introduced ClipChamp, which is far from being screen reader friendly.

Cheers,

I'm so glad you wrote this as I was thinking of doing something similar soon.
So far, the only thing I have found is a YouTube video that talks about using the simple Video Editor for Windows that comes with Windows 10, I believe. At least, I can't find it on my Windows 11 machine. Here is the link in case that helps. However, I'm on the hunt for one myself to do simple editing or joining of video files.

I understand that Microsoft stream is a web app available under the Microsoft 365 enterprise license. Does anyone know if there is a desktop version of this app?
The problem as I see it with recording directly in teams or zoom is that if you pause the recording, then a new file is started. So then you have to find an easy way to combine all those files. I would be open to other suggestions on how to create and edit simple videos relatively easily with jaws.
