[Trainer-Talk] An update to Google Drive shortcuts

Hi,
I'm glad you mentioned the changes. It seems that they had commands for a
long time working.
I've hardly learned Google anything and did not teach it.
Its complicated IMO.
The new ones you mentioned sound illogical. Oh, well, they always change
things up.

Ashley

I totally understand that change can be difficult sometimes.
It makes it more so especially if there is a redesign of an
interface or something like that.
I've had to learn to adapt a little bit especially when I'm teaching
someone.

You are quite welcome. Change is always one of those things that some people
don't care about and some people react not unlike Rainman on the airplane.
While my reaction wasn't quite as dramatic as Rainman, it was and still a
bit bothersome.

Hello everyone. I just found out that Google has updated many of the
keyboard shortcuts used on Google Drive web version. For example, pressing N
on a file or folder used to open the rename dialog. Now, pressing F2 is for
rename. Pressing Shift + U used to be the shortcut for uploading a file, now
it's Alt C then U. While many of these new hot keys make more sense than
before, it's still going to be a bit of a muscle memory change for folks
like me, who use Google Drive from the web all the time.
