Hello all,
I recently purchased a Dgnog (spelled D G N O G) R4 Pro Mixer with
Bluetooth, wireless mics and XLR Phantom Power, along with other standard
inputs. The mixer is said to also function as an audio interface with an
iPad, iPhone, Mac, PC, and an Android Tablet, using Bluetooth, or a USB-C to
USB cable, which also can serve as the power supply to this mixer.
All the switches, sliders, buttons, nobs, and controls on
this mixer are fully tactile. However, the user guide and manual that came
with the mixer was only a one-page printed piece of paper. While trying to
scan and convert this piece of paper into a usable resource that I can work
with, JAWS, even with Picture Smart and OCR, just isn't working out the way
that I need for it too. While I did reach out to Dgnog Technical support to
ask them for an electronic copy of their user manual for the Dgnog R4 Pro
Mixer, I have not received a response from them yet.
I did manage to find some tutorials on YouTube, they are not very helpful
when trying to orientate myself to the many different buttons, switches,
Nobs, Connections, Inputs, Outputs, and Sliders on this thing. So, it is a
little overwhelming for me. This is not to say that I am not up to the
challenge, but it would help me out a lot if I can get an accessible user
manual that I can work with. Otherwise, it is going to be a lot of trial and
error to learn this device. However, I would like to forgo as much of that
trial and error as possible for me to get up and running more quickly.
I think that with the right information and resources, I
should be able to use this device. I'm sure that it is very accessible once
one gets orientated to the mixer, but I cannot exhaust all my AIRA minutes
to have them orientate me to the mixer and type out the information from the
manual that I need to get up and running. So, I say all of this to ask you
all if anyone has had experience with this type of mixer and if they have
access to an electronic copy of the user guide? If they do have access, then
could someone please send me a copy of the user guide or any tips for
getting up and running more quickly? Thank you for any help or assistance
that you can provide.
Warm regards,
Michael Evers
