Hey all,
Our annual Assistive Technology Trainers Division meeting is happening this
Thursday July 10, at 3:00 p.m. in the New Orleans Marriott, Gallery 5.
You won't see our division name listed in the convention agenda, and I
apologize for that. Not sure how it got left out, but just to be clear-this
is our official division meeting, and everyone is welcome.
In the agenda, it appears under the title:
"Teaching tech that builds confidence"
We'll be talking about the future of the division, a few guest speakers, an
open discussion on AI in the classroom, examine what it means to support
trainers who believe in structured discovery, and how we can build a
stronger network for those of us doing the work-and doing it differently.
You do not have to pay anything to attend but being a member guarantees your
right to vote on policy changes.
Dues are only $5, and we encourage folks to join so they can be a part of
the changes we want to implement.
You can bring cash to the meeting to join or renew. You can also click this
link and pay your $5 dues online.

Also, if you're attending the 24th Annual National Rehabilitation and
Orientation and Mobility Conference on Tuesday, I'll be giving a talk during
that session about structured discovery in tech training and why it matters
more than ever.
Please note, we are sorry, but we are unable to broadcast this meeting, but
we will definitely provide some excellent summaries and takeaways.
Hope to see many of you Thursday at 3.
Don't forget Bring five bucks not just to vote but also because we need the
member numbers as well.
See you in NOLA!
