of the Windows 11 Environment with a Screen Reader YouTube Playlist,

New YouTube Asynchronous Content Available - Overview of the Windows 11
Environment with a Screen Reader WCBVI is pleased to announce a new playlist
on our YouTube channel entitled "Overview of the Windows 11 Environment with
a Screen Reader".
This playlist contains over videos and more than six hours of content
surrounding navigating various aspects of the Windows environment. Videos
average 10-12 minutes in length, but are no longer than 17 minutes each.

Topics covered include but are not limited to:

  *   Orientation to the Windows Desktop.
  *   Use of common Windows commands to accomplish tasks such as navigating
between open programs, closing programs, or bringing focus back to the
Windows Desktop.
  *   Navigating and using the Windows Taskbar, including pinning and
unpinning applications.
  *   Using Quick Settings to connect to wireless networks and Bluetooth
devices.
  *   Using Windows commands to adjust volume and choose input and output
devices.
  *   Navigating File Explorer and organizing files and folders.
All commands and processes introduced in this series are completely Windows
based, so the user can utilize the screen reader of their choice, or no
screen reader at all.
Teachers may benefit from using this playlist as a companion to assistive
technology instruction.
New content will be added over the course of the school year.
