Episode 90 of Access On, the technology podcast of the National Federation
of the Blind, is well worth listening to from at least perspectives. First,
it provides some basic concepts around the use of computer software and
smartphones from a nonvisual perspective--concepts that are vital for
beginning users to understand if they hope to master this technology. Second
(and perhaps more importantly), this episode demonstrates a lot of what we
mean in the Federation when we use the term, "structured discovery."

discovery helps us understand concepts, explore unfamiliar interfaces, and
