[Trainer-Talk] NVDA with XP

All, 

I have a customer who is working in a radio station and unfortunately has to
access an older Windows XP system to queue up programming. 

We've installed NVDA 2017.3 which is the last version that supports XP. 

NVDA is installed but once it loads for some reason speech is set to none.
I've set it to E speak and saved the configuration, but upon closing NVDA
and restarting  it reverts to no speech.  I'm hoping not to have to
uninstall and reinstall as this is a production machine. 

Anyone have any ideas.
