[Trainer-Talk] Remote Opportunities at Allied Instructional Services

I'm currently at $56 per hour, but I don't know if that's the current rate or if it goes up by experience. I started at $52 per hour. I would check the job description to see the current starting rate. Keep in mind that this rate is per "in-field hour," which means the session itself and any work being done during school hours. There is also an additional $40 per hour rate for "office hours," meaning work done on evenings or weekends outside the school day. My supervisor often reminds us to bill for our prep, paperwork and meeting time so we're paid properly for the work we do.

When I started working there in 2023, I had fairly extensive experience working with students through summer programs and other volunteer activities, but none directly in the schools. I would still encourage you to at least put in an inquiry; they may decide to use you for a certain placement once they know your background if they think the nature of the placement fits your skill set, or at the very least you would be on the list for future opportunities.
