So if I'm understanding correctly, when toggle keys are on, the
student would, for example, tap the S key twice to get L or the D key
twice to get K? <br>

<pre wrap="">In Windows Vista it's the Ease of Access Center. You want to setup the
system to use toggle keys. Then it's just a matter of learning to
touch type with one hand. Many computer programmers and engineers
learned to do that so their free hand can be used for other work
related tasks. Some editions of Mavis Bacon Teaches Typing come with a
manual on how to type with one hand on a regular qwerty keyboard.

<pre wrap="">I have a student who can only type with one hand. We have a Matias
half-qwerty keyboard which works well but she'd like to be able to use her
laptop without lugging around an extra keyboard. Does anyone know of
software that would make the keyboard easily usable with only one hand?
