As you may or may not know I am a Disney Destination Specialist and and
Graduate of Disney's College of Knowledge I got the Mickey ears with tassels
on them.
I would like to let you know about 2 new offerings from Disney
1. Is a new resort location. No not a new hotel resort at Walt Disney World
in Florida, or Disneyland in California, which by the way Disneyland is
marking there 55th Anniversary this year 2010, and in October 2011 Walt
Disney World will be celebrating there 40th Anniversary Nelson and I are
already planning for our trip in November 2011 for our anniversary, we like
to travel on that day especially to do work and pleasure.
The new resort location is in Hawaii. And Bookings go on sale August 2,
2010, the resort is opening August 29,2011.
the destination is called Aulani, at Ko Olina on the Island of Oahu. build
on the western side of Oahu, on 21 acres of oceanfront property.
There will be 2 restaurants on-site, a wedding lawn, a conference center, a
spa center and pool, a lazy river, and a wading pool, hot tubs, an adult
pool and a snorkeling lagoon. Sounds awesome right.
Also the resort will have age specified programming for kids ages 3-10,
tweens, teens, young adults and of course for us adults.
They will also include pool parties with Disney characters, excursions into
the rainforest, surf lessons and Hawaiian cooking lessons with local chefs.
Introductory room rates will start at $399 per night.
As of right now you can only book this through a travel agent.
2. This is offered from Adventures by Disney where you are on a group
vacation with others to different countries, and they are geared to the
family travel, outside the box learning experiences.
They have now included Egypt - Egypt - 8 Days/7 Nights
Pyramids, Pharaohs & Ancient Treasures - Cairo, Aswan & the Nile
The NEW Egypt family vacation from Adventures by Disney® discovers a land of
ancient history and timeless mysteries! Cruise down Cleopatra's Nile and
explore the tomb of Tutankhamun. Walk in the footsteps of pharaohs and stand
in the shadow of the Great Pyramids. It's an unforgettable encounter with
one of history's most fascinating civilizations.
I have been to Egypt a few times myself, my ex-husband is from there, and my
daughter goes every other year to visit her grandparents. Beautiful country
and beautiful people. The Food, people, culture, history. It is totally
unbelievable.
The biggest compliment you can pay me is to recommend my services!
