[Travelandtourism] FYI!

Dear Tatyana,
I went to Italy 3 years ago with my choir and was permitted to touch a
number of things that my sighted friends could not. The tour guide we had
definitely knew I was blind and always made sure I could touch. When we were
not with a tour guide, my friends would mention to whomever that I was blind
and could I touch, and there was never a problem. In Italy we visited
Venice, Ravenna, Florence, Rome and Assisi, singing in most of those places
including Mass at St. Peter's. It was a wonderful trip. If I may help
further, you are welcome to contact me off list at
shrnhow at att.net
Sharon
