Since this is the 40th Anniversary of Walt Disney, and I have just posted information about there Magic Your Way special with free dining packages.

I will be giving my own advice this on the subject, since I have loved Disney since a child like many of others on this list.

When going to Disney though remember it is a big big place and I wouldn't recommend going it alone, even though they have the new hand held device to get around, it is still with all the property at Walt Disney World that includes 4 parks Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom. There is also the Wide World of Sports Complex where the Atlanta Braves have there spring training, and other sports to do there, 2 water parks, horse back riding, boating, fishing, and much much more.

Including the resorts on property from the different categories from 4 Value Resorts (which are the cheapest resorts, but still very nice) 4 Moderate resorts, 4 Deluxe Hotels.

See what I mean.

People say I don't want to go to the Magic Kingdom, I just want to go to Epcot or one of the other theme parks. You can do that as well. But then you should not stay on property, and just stay at a local hotel outside of the park, so that you can do other things besides Disney.

I have gone at least 5 times that I can remember, and in November I am going just me and my daughter. I hope to have many videos up on youtube and for our website.

For us who are blind or anyone who is disabled, and if you weren't at convention, we had Disney open our Convention, it was awesome, I hope to have it up on the website, it is all over the place, and you can hear what is going on.

Anyway, like I was saying Disney is very good compared to other theme parks, but they also need work!!

Even if they educate everyone cast member who works with them unless they are around them all the time, then there will be issues.

I had cast members (employees) actually walk into me, I had my cane and had my dark glasses on and mind you, sunglasses doesn't mean anything, but to have cast members walk right into me with the cane, was not what I considered right, it was down right rude, and it happened a few times.

When I was there in 2009, when this happened, I wrote to the Guest Services Department and informed them of this.

But what can we do at the parks all depends on what you like to do, do you just like the food, do you like the rides, do you like the shows. Yes we can enjoy whatever we like to do.

Do your homework on Disney many places to go and do and read about.

I recommend the link here which helps a lot.
