[Travelandtourism] Agenda Item for Convention Meeting

Hello Cheryl and everyone,

One way we can learn how guide dogs can be worked successfully in
particular environments is to learn from those who have done it
successfully. As I pointed out to various individuals I have worked my dogs
in several animal environments without any problems. I'd like to suggest
including an item on the meeting agenda to address this subject. One way
this issue can be put behind us is if those who attend our meeting have the
chance to hear the experiences of those that have worked their dogs in
various types of environments where wild and domestic animals are present.
These presentations could do much to put this issue to rest and will help us
gather the knowledge and experiences of guide dog users who work their dogs
in situations to present to entities where there may be concerns about guide
dogs entering particular areas. Please take this idea in to consideration.

Bite who?
Not me, not Reese, Not Margo, who then?
Disney, no they are offering alternatives, they are making suggestions, etc.
We all may not agree on them, but they are alternatives, again at the parks
the dogs are welcome, there are designated areas that the dogs go bathroom
at, not on the trees and bushes inside the park, but in designated areas.
They are allowed on 90 percent of all of the rides. They advise but do not
forbid guide dogs in certain parts of Animal Kingdom. So lets move on with
this.
I will let this topic go on for a little more and then I am going to ask to
leave it alone, until I get more of documentation from Mr. Jones.
