 I think your advice goes without saying. You are responsible for any damage your dog is responsible for weather on a cruise are not. If a person has a well behaved dog, takes the proper steps necessary before leaving them for an hour or two I see no problem with it. I have been on many cruises and their dog was fine and I let the crew know that the dog was inside and on tie down. It's just like with every day life with a guide dog… It's up to the owner to get full details.
