[Travelandtourism] Service animals left in staterooms or hotel rooms

I think my issue with Will is paying what sounds like a bribe to the steward.
If it's ok to leave the pup in the room, why the need to slip the steward extra money?
That doesn't set well with me.

Yes, I was following along and I responded to the posts specifically. I too am a member of both organizations and what I was doing was responding to the fact that one way is not always the best way. And your experience it may not have worked with you with your dog but that is not to say my experiences are not valid. It wasn't a disagreement with you but rather Uruguay is not the only way…

>> I think your advice goes without saying. You are responsible for any damage your dog is responsible for weather on a cruise are not. If a person has a well behaved dog, takes the proper steps necessary before leaving them for an hour or two I see no problem with it. I have been on many cruises and their dog was fine and I let the crew know that the dog was inside and on tie down. It's just like with every day life with a guide dog… It's up to the owner to get full details.
