Hello all:
Travel insurance will not pay for unless it says cancel for any reason, and this option is not available in all states, so check wisely.
If you cannot go because your boss says you cannot travel on this date.
You need to know and put in for vacation.
If your employer states that you have to work this schedule last minute.
Then you are out of luck on the travel insurance.
But you might be able to put a claim in with your credit card company.
We recently had someone who has to do this.
We are returning as much money as possible, also please read what the insurance covers. NO Insurance will cover, well I cannot take off from work.  If you are laid off or fired from your job it will be covered. You just need on letterhead from employer or proof from unemployment insurance that you were terminated from your job.
