I was just contacted by William Read at Baruch College, he is the Assistant Director at the Computer Center for people for the Visually Impaired in New York City.
FYI, he doesn't like using the word "Blind", he kept saying vision loss.
Hate people like that.
In any case, he has asked me to do a presentation at there all day event on April 11, 2013.
I am getting all the details, but I believe for those who are interested in hearing me speak or attending the all day event are welcome to come. The will be having students, employeers, training centers, etc, there.
I was asked to speak about issues that blind people face by traveling for leisure experiences.
There will be Q&A, etc.
I am hoping that is it in NY City, that some of my brothers and sisters of the NFB of NY will be in attendance for it.
Sincerely,
Cheryl Echevarria
