That is very strange. My husband and I have used Amtrak for many years and
have gone many places. I have also let them know that we are blind and
have never, never, never been asked how much vision we do or don't have.
We have received excellent service and in fact additional assistance with
much respect and kindness. I am very shocked to hear such a thing.

Wow, that is odd. I take Amtrak often, and I have never been asked that
question, and I have been treated with much respect.

No that is against, ADA about this. We had our monthly meeting last
night,
would have loved to learned this then, but I will be contacting Amtrak,
and forwarding this to Mark Riccobono and the paralegals in Baltimore.
That is none of their business how much vision you have.

I took Amtrak somewhere I ended up being treated horribly.
