[Travelandtourism] Another reason to get travel insurance while traveling

This is not an April Fool's joke. 
This is actually going on with my client who is over in Europe as well speak.
Lufthansa Airlines is threatening to go on strike, and is cancelling flights through April 4th.  My clients are in Prague (Czech Republic), they have flights returning on Lufthansa back to the US.
They are covered for trip interruption on there plan.  Only thing they have to do is, on the day they are flying home to make sure that they flight is cancelled, they cannot do this now, they must wait for the actual date of travel.  

They can call the Emergency Help Line with the insurance company, and they can get them another flight home.
This is not the only time a client has had to use the trip interruption part of their plan.
I had 2 clients traveling during hurricane Sandy flying back home to NY. And a Client who was over in Ireland in 2012, when we were having Hurricane Irene and the NY Airports were closed.
They had to contact the travel insurance company to get them back to another state, get a hotel, and then find a way to get home to NY. Since one of them is a Vendor in our BEP Program, and the other is a teacher. So they had to get back and not stay extra time in Ireland.
Christine and Gary Grassman are the ones who went on the Ireland Trip, and have said I can use them as examples as to why to get travel protection.  The other clients are not with the NFB and have said we can use there examples, but leave names out of it.
So when looking at a trip or just a flight somewhere make sure you get the travel insurance through a reliable source and not at the airport.
