[Travelandtourism] Trip ideas

Hi,
No no--I don't remember being particularly negative with regards to any of
our trips--I'm just not able to go on them due to time
constraints--particularly the case in Octobers. I just thought I'd be making
this list a bit more interesting by adding in my experiences and offering
helpful critique. 
Actually, I was not the one to present on a South Asian trip. Another fellow
shared his experience in Vietnam with us at the convention a couple years
ago as I recall. I did write about my own Vietnam experience on the list
though. I'd be glad to present on it some time if you'd like. I also enjoy
talkin' geography.
Travel talk is fun if the travel's fun:)

We really like hearing from your Trevor, but if I remember correctly, you
were negative on the trip last year as well. You are a great person for
references on your experiences, especially one of your trips to Asia that
you did and did a presentation at one of the national meetings.
I would love to recommend to those that have yet to pay there dues, that
when we vote on the 3 main ideas to present at the National Convention, in
April or May at our monthly meetings, that you do pay, so that you vote will
be honored, please remember being on this list does not mean you are a paid
member of the division, and that entitles you to a vote on the things the
division does do.

Also, if you are planning on going on the trip we pick that anyone
recommends as well, then you are also saying you will be trying to get
friends, family, business acquaintances, etc to join us.  We will also have
a fundraiser committee, these people will work closely with the Officers of
the division to get things in order. The last trip was Milton and myself,
working crazy hours on the last trip, this year, I was mostly  working at
the Nashville trip myself.
Again, these trip are not solely for the blind, that would be a waste of our
time, we might as well just give the money for the trips to the division,
that doesn't make any sense at all. We also want to get other people that do
not belong to the NFB and see what blind people can do independently.
