Good afternoon all:

Per Mr. Riccobono's monthly e-newsletter the 75th National Convention will
be at the Rosen Center Hotel once again.

Dates of convention are July 5-10, 2015

Please read your braille monitors and stayed tuned for announcements , as
you know reservations for the hotel start after New Year's do not wait until
the last minute to book, especially if you want to be in the main hotel and
not the overflow hotel.

If you have never been to convention. This is the pinnacle of the NFB, our
leadership comes together and we decide as a whole on work we have done and
will do in the future. Resolutions are brought forth and voted upon. We have
our Annual face-to-face meeting.

If you say you cannot afford to come to convention, there are ways to get
assistance.

Jernigan Convention Scholarship, that offers between $400-$500 assistance
once you arrive at convention.

Your chapter or state can assist you. That is what your treasury is for to
assist those coming to Washington, DC & Convention.

Ask about this with your chapter and state president.

Hoping one day you all can come to our National Convention.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
