Good morning all:

The NFB Travel & Tourism Division, a proud division of the National
Federation of the Blind, will be holding a division meeting on Tuesday,
October 21, 2014.

This a teleconference call meeting. The calling information is (805)
360-1000 and the access code is 871517#

The meeting will be starting promptly at 7PM Eastern Time, 6PM Central Time,
5PM Mountain Time, 4PM Pacific Time, and 1pm Hawaii Time.

Agenda:

Secretary Report, Treasurer's Report

President Echevarria will be discussing updates on the division and where we
want to move forward.

Discussion, we may not get to all of these, but we will be hitting on most
of them:

What is the NFB Travel & Tourism Division?

Secretary, Margo Downey's trip to the Association of Airlines Passengers
Rights Conference, which was from September 26-27, in Washington, DC.

Updates on our website

We will be discussing NFB LIVE - www.nfblive.org <http://www.nfblive.org>
what it is and how it can help the division, might have a guest from the NFB
Live team to discuss this.

Convention events - tours of Orlando, prior to start of the convention, and
potential guests at convention. 75th Annual Convention of the National
Federation OF THE BLIND, will be from July 1-7, 2015 at the Rosen Center
Resort in Orlando, FL. Start saving now. Remember the money we raise for
our division, does help those go to National Convention and other meetings
related to travel.

Maybe have a table at convention expo, since all divisions get a free table,
we can sell things as well. Need ideas on that.

Trip ideas for 2016 - We had a wonderful fundraiser in 2013 for the
division, we are looking for ideas and committee for Trip in 2016.

We hope to see you there. Some may get this e-mail more than once if you are
on the travelandtourism at nfbnet.org <mailto:travelandtourism at nfbnet.org> , if
you are on it, please let me know.

Thank you.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
