Good afternoon everyone:

I wanted to give you some updates on the trip; especially to all of you, who
voted on the trip during our meeting at National Convention.

We had indicated that to make this trip a success, we need everyone who
voted to get the word out about it. This trip is opened to the public to
attend, and not just NFB members. The more people who can go the better and
more money we can make.

We had also indicated, even if you cannot attend for whatever reason, that
everyone is responsible for getting to your friends the information about
it.

The information is attached in a word document. To put it into a flyer,
would just be too long.

You can also take the word document, copy all the information and put it
into the body of an e-mail.

You can also just write up an email or have all the fine points about the
trip at your fingers tips with many of our devices that we have to us.

I for one, have sent out to all our state affiliate presidents, and email
about the trip, and put in the link to our website page of the trip, here it
is again.

We also have the information on our Facebook page and I have created an
event page on Facebook as well.

Remember the 1st deposit is September 30, 2015 of $300 per person, we have
single, double, triple and quad accommodations. If we get some people
booking by September 15th, 2015; we can possibly get an extension on the
deposits, but if we do not have 25+ people going, Mrs. Jo Taylor, Treasurer
of the division, will send you back all your deposits; and the trip will be
cancelled.

Let's make this a great event.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
