If forget Adrijana: are you here in the US or abroad.

The Torchtrust.org is an organization in the U.K. that service the blind
community.

So it all depends on where you are. Also when looking for a tour company,
remember if you are just blind and have no other disabilities, then you will
be treated like others. I have found that when you are working with a tour
company that only works with the blind, that they tend to baby you.

I am not familiar with this organization, so I will reach out to them.

Many blind people that I have worked with do not want to do these types of
groups, they walk faster on their own and would prefer not to be treated
like a blind person.

Just giving you what my clients that are blind want, that doesn't mean that
you need the same things. Remember, we believe in living the life you want,
not the way we want.

Some people think it is the NFB's way or the highway, not true at all.

Have a great day!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.

I have had several clients that have been to London, Scotland, Ireland, with
and without groups.

The U.K. is a big country. Any specific questions?

Hi,

I think I will be going on holiday in the UK this summer. It is organized
by the torch trust for the blind and takes place from 15 to
25 of July and was wondering if anyone here or people you know have been
there?

 Adrijana
