2 weeks ago I did an interview for the NYPL The New York Public Library for
a project call called Community Oral History Project, Visible Lives, Oral
Histories of the Disability Experience. This is an oral history project that
works to both preserve and document a thematic history through personal
recollections. This is a project of Andrew Heiskell Braille and Talking Book
Library in Manhattan. A public archive is being kept at this local branch
for future generations to listen to and research. As well as online, you can
click below to listen to my recording.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
