[Travelandtourism] Service animals in France and Spain

Hi all-

I wrote some time back tentatively, but am reinitiating the research now for a trip we really would like to book if possible.  I use a vision assist dog.  My wife uses an assistance dog.  We fly domestically regularly and all do fine.  We would like to go to Spain and to France.  Calling the embassies so far has proven not very helpful - they try to be helpful but they don’t seem to really know the answers.  

What we are trying to find out is whether service animals area allowed access in those two countries.  Have any of you had experience with a service dog in France, or in Spain?
