Merry Christmas TABSters!

I sincerely hope that your holiday season has kicked off to a wonderful
start. TABS has accomplished great things this year, and we're gearing up to
do even bigger and better things in 2012. As you start thinking about the
new year, I want to encourage you to become actively involved with your
student division. As it was announced at our business meeting, TABS has
developed four new and exciting committees that need members!

 

Membership Committee: Juan Carlos "JC" Munoz, Chairperson

The purpose of the membership committee is to keep constant contact with our
members, as well as develop exciting activities that will grow our
membership. If you like working directly with people, if you like planning
activities, and like having fun this is the place for you! Join JC in
creating a strong and healthy TABS membership. For more information on this

Fundraising Committee: Danny Martinez, Chairperson

The purpose of the fundraising committee is to develop new and innovative
ways for TABS to make money. If you like developing strategies to create
revenue, and you want to work with someone who has lots of experience in

Keeping TABS Committee: Monica Villarreal, Chairperson

Keeping TABS is a quarterly publication produced by the Texas Association of
Blind Students. This committee is responsible for developing content for our
newsletter. If you like writing, designing, and organizing material for
publication, this is the committee for you! For more information contact

Social Media Committee, Gabe Cazares, Chairperson

The purpose of this committee is to utilize all the social media tools that
are available to promote TABS. If you like to use Facebook, Twitter,
YouTube, and any other social media tools this is the committee with you!
