Hi all of you social media buffs and aspiring social media buffs,

The Texas affiliate has a twitter account.  One of the contributors is your
NFBNewsline coordinator with pointers to interesting articles.  

For example, today's tweet notes an article in the 09/06/2012 issue of "The
Economist."  It's pretty compelling.  As it deals with the growing
realization that the disabled community is a growing market which can mean
more business for businesses that cator to them.  This realization is
bouncing off the heightened interest in the para-olimpics and its
participants.  

 

Of course, I can't say all that in a tweet.  My challenge will be to put my
writing on a diet.  It's only worth while if I have a big audience.  Those
of you not signed up on our new Twitter account need to do so right away and
encourage others to do so as well.

 

There will be posts regarding various aspects of NFBT programs and projects
so it will be a useful tool.
