Subject: [NFBT] Scholarship Program Reminder

Hello everyone. I am posting this message as a reminder that the deadline to
apply for the 2014 NFB of Texas Scholarship Program is fast approaching. If
you are a blind student, please visit our scholarship page
<http://nfbtx.org/content/2014-scholarship-application> to submit your
application online. If you know blind high school or college students who
qualify, be sure to pass this information on to them. Here's what they need
to know.

1. We will be awarding four scholarships: 2 in the amount of $1,000.00, 1
in the amount of $1,500.00, and 1 in the amount of $2,000.00.
2. To be eligible an applicant must be a legally blind resident of Texas
who plans to attend college on a full-time basis in the fall of 2014.
3. We require the following documents: a completed application form, a
personal essay, two letters of recommendation, and proof of legal blindness.
If the applicant is entering college for the first time this fall, we also
require an acceptance letter from a college or university.
4. The application deadline is August 15, 2014.

People who have questions may pose them by writing to our committee at
nfbtscholarship at gmail.com.

Easy peasy. Right?

Spread the word. Our committee wants lots of applications to consider.
