Who? Print Disabled Middle School Students, interested parent-chaperones, and Professionals empowering the lives of the legally blind

When? July 31, August 3, 2014 

Where? Austin, Texas

Cost? $125.00 Program Participation Fee (Contact NFBT if this is a hardship)

 

Cutting EDGE is an innovative youth program of the National Federation of the Blind of Texas empowered to Enhance Direction to Great Education for youth with print deficiencies.  Encouraging leadership, literacy, and learning with interactive approaches directed through NFB Newsline <http://www.nfbtx.org/content/nfb-newsline%C2%AE> -a free service offering access to a worldwide informational network.

The NFBT Cutting EDGE Teen Leadership Program offers a weekend experience rich in fun, friendship, and empowerment sponsored by NFB Newsline for Texas. Set in the state capital, ten enthusiastic participating Middle School students who are print disabled and four chaperone parents of blind children will gain the opportunity to network with the largest and most influential advocacy group for the legally blind.
