Hello all,
I’m pleased to announce that the NFB of Texas has sponsored the addition of the Nonprofit Quarterly magazine on NFB-NEWSLINE. The December edition is now available under Magazines in the General Interest category.
Nonprofit Quarterly launched as a national print journal in the winter of 1999, with the mission to provide credible, research-based articles for nonprofits about management and governance. The editorial mission evolved to cover issues related to the operating environment for nonprofits—specifically, public policy and philanthropy. NPQ’s quarterly magazine soon became the leading journal of the nonprofit sector.
To read NPQ on the telephone system, press number 7 off the Main Menu for Magazines. Follow the phone prompts to select General Interest, then select Nonprofit Quarterly.
To read NPQ on the free NFB-NEWSLINE Mobile app for iOS devices, double tap the Publications button, then double tap the Publication Options button at the bottom of the screen. Swipe right to the Magazines button and double tap it to display an alphabetized list of all magazines.
Those of you serving as leaders in the Federation, working in the nonprofit field, and students studying nonprofit management or other related disciplines will find this resource particularly beneficial!
Take care,
---

Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
