This scholarship is intended for individuals who are pursuing the apprenticeship route—therefore, no college degree is required. This scholarship will be given to a person who exemplifies the traits of Darick Williamson—Namely the passion to teach the skills of independence to blind people. This scholarship is intended for individuals pursuing a Graduate Degree in O&M or Rehab teaching, and therefore, admittance into an NBPCB-approved University program is required. The amount and frequency of the scholarship will be determined by the NBPCB board annually, and only when a worthy candidate is identified.
