Hi there!

I am Ujjaini, and I’m a researcher with the Computer Science department at
UT Austin. I am working on designing technology systems for making dance
instruction accessible for blind and low-vision students. I am currently
gauging interest from blind and low-vision individuals for participation in
a research study.

The study will be held at the Gates Dell Complex at the UT Austin campus
and will be sometime in the last two weeks of July, depending on
participants' availability. It will be in a group interview format and
focus on understanding accessibility challenges for blind and low-vision
dance students. The study will include interactive activities for
brainstorming narrative, audio, and haptic-based solutions to address these
challenges. Participants will not be required to do any physical activity
for the study. Participants will be compensated $30 per hour for their
time, and the study will run for approximately 3 hours. Food and
refreshments will be provided.

I would be very grateful if you could share this information to any people
with visual impairments that might be interested! They can reach me at
ujjaini at utexas.edu or (832) 406-6723.

Thank you so much for your time!

Warmly,

Ujjaini Das
