 Good morning Vabs! It’s the eve of Vabs Saturday! Sending one last plug
for our awesome events this Saturday October 7! Whether you’re in the 757,
703, or anywhere in between, please please please come out and spend your
weekend with us! Please reach out to our respective event chairs, Naim and
Andre, Witt any questions or concerns. Read below fot all the info and we
can’t wait to see you this weekend!!! Vabs Social Dinner Good morning, I am
reaching out to remind everyone about our Saturday evening student dinner,
where we will be indulging in spectacular Middle Eastern, dishes, on
October 7 at Balqis Restaurant at 6:00 on this coming Saturday evening. The

Please also be sure to register for the national Federation of the blind of
Virginia state convention before October 12 at nfbv.org (http://nfbv.org/).
Additionally, please be sure to take advantage of the bus going to the
convention in Williamsburg on Thursday morning November 2 and returning
from the Williamsburg convention on Sunday afternoon November 5. The trip
is $50 each way and please feel free to take advantage of the
transportation available. This is a door-to-door service and will start out
leaving from Saint George’s Episcopal Church in Arlington on Thursday
morning and will return there Sunday afternoon. The departure and return
address is: 915 North Oakland St., Arlington, VA. There will be stops in
Alexandria and Fredericksburg. Please reach out to me with any further
questions regarding the convention van on Thursday, November 2 and Sunday,

Dear Members You are invited to the VABS annual Bowling Event. It is
located at Pinboy’s At the Beach, 1577 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach, 23452
Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 1-4:00pm Cost: $10/person (shoes & bowling)
Bring your money the day of the event and hand it to the lead organizer. In
