I am so excited to tell you that the Greater Alexandria Chapter is doing it
again!
What, you might ask…?
It's a Virtual Murder Mystery! " DEATH ACTUALLY!"!

Director, Dionell Vazquez, VP, Greater Alexandria Chapter, is working our
actors to the literal bone to get ready for our performance on WEDNESDAY,
SEPTEMBER 30 at 7:00 p.m.!
Here is the info you need to be part of the audience:

DATE: Wednesday, September 30, 2026
TIME:  7:00 p.m. EDT
Your Zoom meeting will be provided upon your RSVP payment

 I must apologize to those who received our first announcement about this
murder mystery.  In my excitement to get the word out, I made a mistake on
the cost by saying it would be $5 per person.  As this is a fundraiser for
our chapter, we are charging $10 per person.  Please forgive my mistake.  I
hope you will still attend!

*The audience will play an important role in this murder mystery night!*
There will be no sitting on your butts and dozing off!  I suggest you pay
attention to the inspector, and all the actors for hints to “who dunnit!”
At the end of the performance, the audience will have the opportunity to
put on their investigator hats and ask questions of the cast!  Maybe YOU
will be the one to figure it out!

You might want to read the information below to catch you up on the story
line!  There just might be some hints sprinkled in the narrative!  Hmmmm…
And if you keep reading, you can see which of your NFBV Friends will be
playing each part!  Read the bio of the characters for more hints!

*The story so far…*

Christmas.  Love it or hate it, it comes around annually and there’s
nothing that says ‘Christmas’ more than the annual office Christmas Party.

This evening’s event is hosted at the local art gallery and includes both
friends and family of the graphic design studio.  The drink is flowing and
the guests are surrounded by walls covered in semi-nudes and statues
adorned with Santa hats.  It’s no wonder that strange things are afoot.

The music is loud and the gallery is dark and moodily lit.  In the middle
of the room there’s a rather intriguing sculpture entitled ‘Death Cometh’.
Everyone has been stepping around it, assuming it’s another piece of modern
art.  When someone has the intelligence to look a little more closely at
the fluid surrounding it, they realise it’s not so much a piece of modern
art as a piece of art-inspired-death!  A scream sounds and the police are
called in.

With the gallery closed due to a VIP presence, it means the killer must be
one of the party guests inside.  The question is… who?

The Suspects:
*Gray Shades (Christopher Christie)* - Art gallery event organizer.
Well turned out, Grey is very easy on the eye but is a bit of a wallflower.

*Ben Downingstreet (Jahmil Garrett Bey)* - Prime Minister.
A young bachelor, Ben is continually conscious of his presentation and is
never seen without a suit and tie in public.

*Parker Penn (Christine Grassman)* - Writer.
Fond of Aran sweaters and continually scribbling, Parker is always
preoccupied and rarely notices anything that goes on.

*Dilly Duster (Sandy Halverson)* - Maid.
A Londoner (with an Irish accent!)  through and through, Dilly is conscious
of her foul mouth but sparkles despite her uniform.

*Mia Culpa (Renee Valdez)* - Portuguese housemaid.
Unassuming and plain when working, Mia has really come to life at the party
with a fabulous designer dress.  When she smiles she is a rare beauty.

*Crystal Bahl (Bella Teta)* - Newly-wed.
Dazzlingly beautiful and with delicate features, Crystal turned heads at
her wedding and continues to shine.

Ok Smarty-pants!  WHO DUNNIT???
