[Vendorsmi] update and request for assistance with UIA and their failure to communicate

As of the time of this writing and after several phone calls in the past week to both the Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) and
the Business Enterprise Program (BEP), I have heard nothing whatever regarding my
protest of UIA's extreme increase of my tax rate for unemployment insurance, nor have I been able to verify any contact between
these agencies on this matter or that any of the support promised by the BEP has been given, beyond Mr. Hull's excellent letter on
my behalf. On the UIA side, it appears that my case has been moved from the Tax Maintenance unit, which handles protests, and the
Tax Status unit, which seems to be the place where cases rest after a determination has been made. Again, I have received nothing
in writing from UIA since late May of this year, when I was informed that I am expected to pay more than $1,300 in extra taxes,
penalties, and daily interest charges for the first quarter of this year alone. I and my representative have placed this assessment
in protest as well. This transfer to the Tax Status unit, the lack of communication between UIA and me or my accountant
representative, and the time that has passed all lead me to believe that the Unemployment Insurance Agency has no intention of
granting me a hearing of any kind.

I will not sit still while my reputation and financial future are systematically ruined due to a bureaucratic misunderstanding or
the willingness of another operator(s) to break rules and laws. I now ask that Mr. Hull, Mr. Cannon or anyone else in posession of
this message use their authority and such other resources as they may have to bring about a speedy and
equitable resolution of the matter, both for my sake and for the sake of the entire program and those present and future operators
who must legally employ others in the service of their assigned facilities.
