Hmmmmmmmmmm, Ya think there are questions concerning the legality of the
abuse of of the law and program rules in an attempt to once screw and
sell-out the blind! Duh! And why is it that the legality is in question
AFTER the proposal process was approved and put in motion?
Supposedly, the assistant attorney general has rendered a verbal opinion
about the legality, so what is the hold-up in reducing it to a written form?
Oh I understand, they really are seeking a qualified BLIND person as
secretary to type the opionion and hopefully distribute it. When will that
secretary selection bid process be complete? What do you mean, it may be
illegal and discriminatory too. Come on, Greg Keathley and Rob Essenberg
both publicly stated nothing illegal was going on! They can't possiblyy be
wrong. After all, they speak the views of ALL EOC and members and ALL
operators. Come on TRUST THEM! After all, THEY ONLY HAVE THR BEST INTEREST
OF THE BLIND VENDOR AND THE BLIND IN GENERAL IN MIND! Come on, you good
obedient blind boys and girls, please get with the program and line-up to
drink their Kool-Aid--it is certain to chang
e your life!

Can we see in writing the Attorney General's opinion so referenced
here or is this once again Zanger hearsay and stalling and, frankly bull
hockey.

Yes, it will be very interesting to learn what the assistant
AG has to say. Some of us had things to say, but almost nobody wanted to
know, with the exception of the Commission Board. And why did the Board go
along? It might have had something to do with a message from BEP staff and
EOC leadership that there was no choice other than their proposal. For
whatever reason, the Board heard only the Agency version of the issue before
giving its support.

Good afternoon, Terry;
It has, indeed, been several weeks since the deadline for
submission of bid proposals for the Anderson Building cafeteria. Members of
the E O C responsible for evaluating the proposals have completed their
review of the submissions.
Since the bid solicitation was issued, the Attorney General
has questioned the process set forth by both the Elected Committee and the
Commission Board for identifying a qualified bidder for the Anderson
Building cafeteria. At present, Commission staff is awaiting the Assistant
Attorney General's written recommendation on the matter.
We apologize for this delay and hope to be able to provide
updated information in the near future.
Best regards,
Constance Zanger

Good morning,
It has been nearly six weeks since the deadline for
submission of bid proposals for the Anderson Building cafeteria.
It is my understanding absolutely no communication has been
made to the bidders. How can such a fact be professionally possible?
What is the status of the bid review, interview, and award
process?
Thank you in advance for your timely, professional response
to this inquiry.
Best regards,
Terry Eagle
