Greetings colleagues and friends,

I know that many of you are making plans to attend BLAST. I know that a number of you are still promoting this excellent training opportunity to your colleagues. Thank you. I know that some state agency personnel are still working on approvals and funding for out of state travel. Please let us know if we can support you in that effort.

This email is your reminder that the deadline for early bird registration is end of business next Monday, April 15. After that time, registration will be at the $200 rate as we have indicated in all promotional materials. If there are state agencies which need to get a registration in process but need to rely on purchase orders or other methods, please begin the process before April 15 and we can then work with you to ensure you get the early bird rate. Please, please urge colleagues and friends to review the preview agenda. I think they will find it of sufficient value; that they will make some effort to attend or support your attendance.

Also, remember that the deadline for hotel reservations is also end of business Monday, April 15. Please do all you can to secure reservations at the hotel by that time. This does not mean that there will absolutely be no rooms after that time. It does mean that we will not be able to guarantee that a reservation will be available after that time. If you have questions, please email or call my office. We are inspired by the response we are receiving from this year's agenda. We are encouraged that both state agencies and blind vendors seem to feel that there is value to be gained at the conference. And, you can be sure there will be surprises which we have not yet announced.
