Yes, in Tennessee we get a statement of unincurred expenses that covers
rent, utilities, equipment depreciation and more. SSA has never questioned
any of that.

I'm in BEP and completed a work history for sSDI for the last 5 years.
I got information about my costs for equipment, training, and repairs from
the SLA. I completed the rental space cost on my own. Then I get a letter
from SSDI asking me if I paid these rental space costs and of coarse, I
didn't. Then they tell me that they need a statement from the SLA showing
that they paid the rental space costs and utility costs. Is this correct?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Colleen

In Michigan the SLA, more specifically, gives a licensee upon request a
letter outlining the vending facility sq footage, the sq footage rental
rate, and any utility cost. This is generally accepted by SSA without
question. Perhaps you should obtain such a letter from your BEP.
