Hi, Everyone,

On Monday, December 7 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, our featured guest on
Branco Broadcast will be Vickie Curley. To participate, please call
712-432-3645. When you hear the man's voice after the computer voice, press
1 for the main menu, 1 for the rooms menu, and 6 for my conference room.
After the greeting, it will ask for your name. Say it, hit pound, and you
will be in the conference. Please arrive on the call 5 to 10 minutes early,
and please mute your phones while Vickie is speaking in order to avoid
background noise. Only unmute your phone when you ask your question.
Otherwise, keep it muted at all times. The following is a brief bio about
Vickie.

My name is Vickie Curley and I am originally from Cleveland Ohio and now
live in a small town in New Jersey. I am 55 years old and For as long as I
can remember I have loved animals, especially dogs. As a little girl I
dreamed of working with dogs never really believing that one day I would
actually have my dream come true. I was born with congenital cataracts
which left me legally blind. I did have some usable vision until I was a
teenager at which point I lost the remainder of the sight I had. I trained
with my first Seeing Eye dog in the summer of 1978 and although my Dog
guide Journey, at times was a bit of a rough one, Pun intended, I learned
so very much from my experiences and my desire to work with dogs grew. In
the Winter of 1986 I had the opportunity to attend a dog training school
located on top of a mountain in West Virginia. I was taught in many areas
of dog education and understanding and through the 8 weeks I spent in class
I established an even deeper appreciation for dogs as a whole. After
graduation from West Virginia canine college I was able to work with many
different people and there dogs. I was not schooled in any kind of service
dog training, but I could help people with both puppy and advanced
obedience, confidence building, problem-solving, and some more advanced
types of training. One of the most important skills I was taught was dog
evaluation. After relocating from Cleveland Ohio to New Jersey I began
raising puppies for the Seeing Eye. I am on puppy 6 and he teaches me new
things every day. My dog training school education comes in so very handy
as I was taught in the art of speaking Dog. HaHa! No matter how long
I work with dogs I am still always learning new things and I look forward
to seeing just what else these wonderful four footed friends have to show
me.

Vickie will give a brief presentation of her topic, and then she will take
questions from our participants. We look forward to hearing from all of you
Monday on Branco Broadcast.
