Subject: [Youth-outreach] Eye Retreat Appliation

It's that time of year! The 2012 Envisioning Youth Empowerment Retreat is
now
accepting applications and seeking support for our 2012 event.

We enjoyed having you last year and want you to be the first to know about
our plans for 2012. Get your application in early!  Please distribute the
applications to any youth who may be interested.

Our focus this year is on college transition. Planned activities include a
mock
college course taught by a professor from NC State, a mock disability
services
intake meeting, a mock meeting with a professor to arrange accommodations,
locating classrooms, and accessing services available to students on a
college campus.

Questions regarding hiring of group leaders and participant requirements
should be directed to Program Coordinator Alan Chase. Assistant Coordinator
Brice Smith will follow-up with individuals once applications for
participants are received.

Thanks for all your help!

Alan
