[Artists-making-art] Happy Thanksgiving

Keep us posted on the projects!  I'd love to hear what the students come up with.

In the sculpture class I'm taking, I have been working with a live model, sculpting her hand.  I'm thinking about doing a series of hand studies involving hands and animals.

  Good morning everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am cleaning my studio getting ready to get back to some serious art making. I am really excited about the art classes at the Colorado Center for the Blind. We have just started exploring installation art and the students are really coming up with some great ideas. We are tying in our feelings about life to the materials at hand - bamboo cut from a small but dense stand right by the sidewalk to the building. We are having lots of fun as we stand cleaning the dried leaves from each stalk talking about ideas.
