Dear Alycia,

I have done a lot of work using wire.  For a college art project I made a 
group of wire figures, some standing on their feet, some on their hands, 
some on the shoulders of others, etc.  I also made a number of mobiles with 
wire figures or other things such as birds or fish.  I found wire a very 
adaptable medium to work in.  You can use different thicknesses and colors 
to provide contrast.  Pieces can be attached to a wooden base.
