Welcome to the list, and congrats on your adoption! My younger son was adopted in the states, and my daughter was adopted from Hong Kong. We were supposed to travel, but at the last minute we did. What a blessing to see Winona's country and meet the people who loved and cared for her.

Hello everyone,
My name is Jason Fayre.  I have been on this list for a few months now,
but this is my first post.  My wife and I are adopting a blind child
from India.  He is now 5 years old.  We are leaving to pick him up on
Sunday the 16th of November.
This is our first child.  We are extremely excited, nervous, scared...
etc. etc.  I apreciate all the wonderful information that gets posted on
this list.  I'm sure I will have many questions as time goes on.  I have
been blind since birth, due to ROP.
