[blindkid] Identify yourself please

I think it is partly a personality thing. Kendra, who is way more
outgoing than I am, always asks who is speaking to her if she can't tell
by the voice. She will often ask even if the person is not speaking
directly to her.
This doesn't answer the question, but our 2 1/2 year old sighted son is
so accustomed to hearing us identify ourselves to Kendra and other blind
children/adults that he will identify himself to anyone or anything ("hi
cat, this is RJ"). I guess that's one thing our family has internalized
well!
